 The
UWA is a body established in July, 1975 under the Society’s Registration
Act XXI of 1860. It is
a body recognized as qualified to speak on behalf of the public, to
the parliament, to the government and to opinion leaders in industry,
commerce and public services.
Through its deliberate and well-planned Seminars, Symposia, distinguished
FRANK MORAES MEMORIAL LECTURES, Literary contests, debates etc., the
Association provides ample opportunities for a systematic personal
study on varied problems confronting the human race.
By focusing public attention and by initiating meaningful discussion
and thereby promoting National Solidarity and good life inspired by
love, guided by knowledge and tempered by wisdom. |
